Devil May Cry 5 Cheat Codes Guide

Devil May Cry 5 Cheat Codes, Red Orb Farming, and SSS Rank Guide content covers three ways to progress faster: a PC Cheat Engine table, repeatable Red Orb farming routes, and combat techniques for reaching SSS style rank.
Use the cheat table only on PC, while every platform can use the farming and combo strategies below.

Capcom describes the series as “stylish action,” and that idea explains the game’s design: variety, timing, and aggressive play matter more than simply dealing damage.
The best results come from mixing weapons, abilities, movement, and defensive actions instead of repeating one safe attack.

Devil May Cry 5 Cheat Codes: PC Cheat Engine Table

PC players can use a third-party Devil May Cry 5 cheat table through Cheat Engine. Download the table from Nexus Mods, then load it in Cheat Engine while the game is running.
Because this is an unofficial tool, back up your save files first and avoid using it in online or shared-progress situations.

The table can change several values at once. These options are useful for testing upgrades, practicing boss fights, or exploring combat systems without stopping to farm resources.

  • Infinite Red Orbs: Sets your current Red Orb total to 999,999,999.
  • Infinite Devil Trigger: Keeps the Devil Trigger gauge from depleting.
  • Infinite Health: Prevents the health bar from decreasing.
  • Max Style Meter: Holds the Style Meter at SSS permanently.
  • Infinite Exceed Gauge: Keeps Nero’s Exceed mechanic fully charged.

These functions remove most of the game’s resource pressure, but they also remove part of the reward loop.
If you want to learn normal mission routing or improve your combat rank, Red Orb farming and manual SSS practice are better long-term options.

Devil May Cry 5 Red Orb Farming Methods

Red Orbs pay for abilities, equipment, and other upgrades. A short, repeatable route is usually more useful than searching every corner of a mission, especially when you are saving for a high-cost character skill.

Mission 3 breakable-object route

Mission 3 contains a high density of breakable objects. Red Orb clusters appear throughout the level, so a fast run can produce a strong return without requiring difficult combat.

  • A full run gives approximately 8,000 to 12,000 Red Orbs.
  • The route takes roughly 4 to 6 minutes.
  • Break every visible red orb cluster, then restart the mission after completing the route.
  • Equip the full Gold Orb set if you want protection from interruptions caused by an accidental death.

This route is a good choice when you want steady income and low combat risk. It also works well early in a playthrough because you do not need advanced execution or a particular character build.

Progression journey
1
Choose your progression route
Use PC tools for testing, or rely on farming and combat practice on any platform.
2
Check the PC decision point
PC?Load the unofficial Cheat Engine table only on PC and back up saves first.
3
Farm Red Orbs efficiently
Repeat Mission 3’s breakable-object route or Mission 12’s fast Empusa Queen loop.
4
Buy mobility and combat upgrades
Prioritize Air Hike, Streak, and Stinger to reach enemies and maintain attack flow.
5
Build toward SSS style rank
Vary weapons, ranges, movement, and defensive actions while avoiding long pauses.

Mission 12 Empusa Queen loop

Mission 12 offers a more combat-focused Red Orb farming loop. One room contains three spawning Empusa Queens. Each queen drops approximately 500 to 800 Red Orbs when defeated.

  1. Enter the room and defeat all three Empusa Queens.
  2. Collect the Red Orbs before leaving.
  3. Exit and re-enter through the same door to reset the room.
  4. Repeat the fight as long as the loop remains efficient for your build.

One loop takes about 90 seconds and yields approximately 1,500 to 2,400 Red Orbs. Mission 12 is a practical alternative to Mission 3 when you want to practice crowd control, aerial movement, and Devil Trigger management while earning currency.

Devil May Cry 5 SSS Rank Combo Guide

SSS rank requires the highest Style Meter level. The meter rises when you vary attacks, weapons, and movement, but it falls when you repeat the same action or stop applying pressure.
The goal is not simply to attack faster; it is to keep changing the type and timing of your attacks.

  • Using the same attack twice in a row reduces Style Meter growth.
  • Switching attacks and weapons builds the meter more effectively.
  • The meter decays if you stop attacking for more than about 2 seconds.

In practice, a missed attack is often less damaging to your rank than a predictable sequence. Use movement to stay close, switch tools before the enemy recovers, and add ranged attacks when you need a safe transition.

“Style is not speed alone; it is the art of turning every opening, weapon, and step into momentum.”

Nero SSS rotation

Nero’s strongest rank-building pattern combines his mobility, Red Queen timing, Exceed, Devil Breakers, and Blue Rose.
Against a standard enemy, the following eight-input sequence can build to SSS in under 4 seconds when executed cleanly:

  1. Use Wire Snatch to pull the enemy close.
  2. Move forward with Streak.
  3. Perform the Red Queen three-hit combo.
  4. Activate a Level 3 Exceed.
  5. Jump cancel to stay airborne.
  6. Use Air Hike.
  7. Continue with an Exceed combo in the air.
  8. Activate a Devil Breaker, then fire a charged Blue Rose shot as you land.

The reason this works is that it changes range, attack type, and elevation several times. If the sequence feels too difficult, practice only the transition from Exceed to jump cancel first. Once that timing is reliable, add Air Hike and the Devil Breaker finish.

Dante SSS rotation

Dante can keep the Style Meter climbing by changing weapons during one continuous attack sequence. On Xbox, use Y to cycle weapons; on PlayStation, use Triangle.

  1. Use two Rebellion hits.
  2. Switch to Balrog for three hits.
  3. Change to King Cerberus for two hits.
  4. Return to Rebellion for the finisher.

This rotation avoids relying on one repeated move. The weapon changes also give you different ranges and attack properties, which makes the sequence useful for both Style Meter growth and adapting to enemies that move away from you.

Secret Mission Locations and Blue Orb Fragments

Secret Missions reward Blue Orb fragments. Collecting enough fragments provides permanent health upgrades, so these missions are worth finding even if your main goal is Devil May Cry 5 cheat codes or Red Orb farming.

  • Secret Mission 1, Mission 2: During the scaffolding section, look toward the crumbling building. A glowing circle appears on the side wall. Stand directly in front of the symbol to activate it.
  • Secret Mission 2, Mission 3: After crossing the bridge, look down from the elevated walkway. The circle is underneath the walkway. Use Gerbera to reach it.
  • Secret Mission 3, Mission 4: In the open courtyard, find the circle on the far wall behind a stone pillar. Approach from the right and stand inside the symbol.
  • Secret Mission 8, Mission 11: Reach the elevated platform visible from the main path. Nero can use Air Hike twice, followed by a Punch Line Devil Breaker boost, to reach the position.

  • 1Prepare the PC table

On PC, back up your save files, start Devil May Cry 5, and load the unofficial Cheat Engine table while the game is running. Use it for testing or practice, and avoid online or shared-progress situations.

    2Farm Mission 3 objects

Replay Mission 3 and clear its breakable objects along the route. A focused run takes roughly 4 to 6 minutes and yields approximately 8,000 to 12,000 Red Orbs.

    3Loop Mission 12

For a short repeatable route, use Mission 12’s room loop. Defeat the three Empusa Queens, collect the drops, and reset the loop; it takes about 90 seconds and yields approximately 1,500 to 2,400 Red Orbs.

    4Build toward SSS

Keep attacking aggressively without repeating one move. Switch weapons, ranges, and movement options, use ranged attacks and jump-cancels, and avoid losing contact for more than about 2 seconds. Nero should prioritize Air Hike for aerial continuity.

Upgrade Priority by Character

Nero

  • Air Hike first: The double jump opens aerial combo extensions that are unavailable from the ground.
  • Streak second: This forward dash attack closes distance and starts combos from several ranges.
  • Max Act third: Instant Level 3 Exceed charging removes the need for manual timing on every charge.

Dante

  • Stinger first: This forward dash attack gives Rebellion a reliable combo opener.
  • Drive second: The charged projectile adds a ranged option across Dante’s Style modes.
  • Quicksilver third: Its time-slow effect creates opportunities for free damage against slowed enemies.

For new players, mobility upgrades usually provide more value than a small damage increase. Air Hike, Streak, and Stinger help you reach enemies, escape pressure, and maintain the attack flow needed for an SSS rank.

Use this progression plan to choose the right tool, farm efficiently, and build toward SSS rank.

  1. Back up your PC save files before using cheats. The unofficial Cheat Engine table is intended for PC only, so protect your progress and avoid using it with online or shared saves.
  2. Use the Cheat Engine table selectively. Infinite Red Orbs, Devil Trigger, health, Style Meter, and Nero’s Exceed Gauge are useful for testing builds or practicing encounters, but normal farming is better for long-term mastery.
  3. Run Mission 3 for large Red Orb payouts. Break every available object along the route and repeat the 4-to-6-minute run for approximately 8,000 to 12,000 Red Orbs.
  4. Choose Mission 12 for a short repeatable loop. Defeat the three Empusa Queens and reset the roughly 90-second room loop to earn about 1,500 to 2,400 Red Orbs per cycle.
  5. Keep the Style Meter active by varying your offense. Switch weapons, mix melee and ranged attacks, change targets, and use movement or defensive actions instead of repeating one move.
  6. Buy Air Hike early when playing Nero. The extra aerial movement makes jump-cancel combos easier to continue and helps you maintain pressure while climbing toward SSS.

Devil May Cry 5 Cheat Codes and Farming FAQ

Are the cheat codes available on every platform?

No. The Cheat Engine table is intended for PC. PlayStation and Xbox players can still use the Mission 3 and Mission 12 Red Orb farming methods, along with the SSS rank techniques.

Which Red Orb method is faster?

Mission 3 provides approximately 8,000 to 12,000 Red Orbs in a 4-to-6-minute run.
Mission 12 provides about 1,500 to 2,400 Red Orbs every 90-second room loop, so the better choice depends on your route speed and combat efficiency.

Why does my Style Meter fall before reaching SSS?

The most common causes are repeating the same move, losing contact with the enemy, or pausing for more than about 2 seconds. Switch weapons, add ranged attacks, and use movement abilities to keep the sequence active.

What should Nero buy first?

Air Hike is the recommended first purchase because it expands aerial movement and makes jump-cancel combos easier to continue.
