The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom does not have traditional cheat codes. The game does contain echo exploits, rupee farming loops, and hidden mechanics that give you a significant advantage throughout the main story and post-game.
FASTEST RUPEE FARMING METHOD
The Jabul Waters chest loop is the fastest rupee farm in the early and mid-game.
Steps:
1. Enter the Jabul Waters dungeon area.
2. Open any treasure chest containing rupees.
3. Exit the area completely back to the overworld.
4. Re-enter the dungeon area.
5. The chest respawns with its original contents.
Each loop takes 45 to 60 seconds and gives 50 to 100 rupees.
With 20 minutes of farming, you accumulate 1,000 to 2,000 rupees.
ECHO DUPLICATION EXPLOIT
Some echo-based actions let you place multiple copies of the same object before the game's limit resets.
Steps:
1. Place the maximum allowed number of a single echo.
2. Immediately open the echo menu before the last echo fully materializes.
3. Select the same echo type again and place it.
4. The game sometimes registers the new echo before removing the oldest one.
This works on version 1.0.0. Later patches reduced the window but did not fully close it.
BEST ECHOES FOR COMBAT
Sword Soldier: The most consistent combat echo in the game. Place two of them and they attack independently while you manage positioning.
Electric Wizzrobe: Highest single-target damage of any combat echo. Use it against bosses with no elemental resistance.
Bind Echo: Not a combat echo, but it pulls enemies toward Zelda before your combat echoes attack. This combination one-shots most standard enemies.
Trampoline Echo: Use it to access areas before you have the intended tool. Place it under a high ledge and jump from it to reach chests and secrets early.
HIDDEN ITEM LOCATIONS
Heart Container 1:
In the Eldin region, look for a bombable wall north of the first dungeon entrance. The Heart Container is behind the hidden room.
Smooth Stone Secret:
Trade 10 Smooth Stones to the collector in Hyrule Castle Town for a rare echo upgrade.
Farm Smooth Stones from the rock-type enemies in the Gerudo Desert area.
SECRET FAIRY FOUNTAIN LOCATIONS
Fairy Fountain 1: Southwest corner of Hyrule Field, behind a pushable block puzzle.
Fairy Fountain 2: Inside Hebra Mountains, accessible after completing the wind shrine.
Fairy Fountain 3: Zora's Domain underwater path, visible after draining the eastern pool with the water echo.
Each Fairy Fountain gives you one Great Fairy upgrade, which increases your maximum health by two hearts.
POST-GAME SECRETS
After finishing the main story, return to Hyrule Castle with the completed Tri Rod.
A hidden door opens in the basement that leads to the Master Sword echo chamber.
The Master Sword echo deals triple the damage of any other sword echo in the game.
NEW GAME PLUS
Echoes of Wisdom does not have an official New Game Plus mode.
Your echo collection carries over if you start a new file from a completed save slot.
Use this to access high-power echoes in the early game and complete the story 40 to 50 percent faster.
