Super Mario Bros Wonder does not have cheat codes. The game stores its secrets in hidden exits, Wonder Seeds, and character-specific abilities that open alternate routes through every world.
HIDDEN CHARACTER ABILITIES
Nabbit and Yoshi are the two characters that take no damage from enemies.
Choose Nabbit or Yoshi for your first playthrough if you want to focus on exploration over combat.
These characters cannot use power-ups, so you lose fire flower and elephant fruit abilities.
Every other character plays identically except for visual differences.
WORLD 1 SECRET EXITS
World 1-2 (Piranha Plants on Parade):
Reach the flagpole area and look for a hidden pipe in the ceiling before the goal.
Enter the pipe to find a secret room with a Wonder Seed and an alternate exit flag.
This unlocks a bonus level not visible on the standard world map.
World 1-4 (Hoppin Hoppycat):
After the midpoint flag, use the Hoppycat Wonder effect to reach the area above the standard path.
The secret exit flag sits at the top of the level, above the visible ceiling.
WONDER SEED LOCATIONS BY WORLD
World 2 (Fluff-Puff Peaks):
Wonder Seed 1: Complete the primary Wonder event in each level.
Wonder Seed 2: Find the hidden 10-flower coin room in the bonus area after each secret exit.
Wonder Seed 3 (bonus levels only): Complete the bonus level without taking damage.
World 3 (Shining Falls):
Every level in World 3 has a second Wonder Seed locked behind a specific action.
In most World 3 levels, the second seed requires you to collect every flower coin in a single run.
FLOWER COIN FARMING
Flower Coins are the main currency in Wonder. You spend them on badges and power-ups at the shop.
Fastest Flower Coin farming:
Replay World 1-1 (Piranha Plants on Parade) repeatedly.
This level has 30 Flower Coins per run and takes under 3 minutes to complete.
You earn 10 flower coins from the Wonder Seed and 20 from coins in the level itself.
With 10 runs, you collect 300 Flower Coins in under 30 minutes.
BADGE PRIORITY FOR EXPLORATION
Buy these badges from Poplin Shops before any others:
Dolphin Kick: Lets you swim faster underwater. Essential for water-heavy worlds.
Wall Climb Jump: Lets you jump off walls. Opens alternate routes in every vertical level.
Parachute Cap: Slows your fall. Prevents damage from long drops in Shining Falls and Fungi Mines.
Jet Run: Increases run speed. Makes enemy-dodge sections significantly easier.
MULTIPLAYER TIPS
In online multiplayer, you share lives with your team.
If one player reaches a midpoint flag, the entire team respawns there on death.
Use this mechanic to carry weaker players through difficult sections.
Assign your most experienced player to run ahead and activate midpoints while others follow.
