Splatoon 3 Cheat Codes, Salmon Run Guide, and Ranked Tips for Switch

Splatoon 3 catalog farming, Salmon Run wave strategies, best weapon builds, and Anarchy Battle ranked tips for Nintendo Switch.

Splatoon 3 does not have cheat codes. The game includes a catalog progression system, Salmon Run farming loops, and weapon ability combinations that give you advantages in both competitive and cooperative modes.

CATALOG FARMING METHODS

Catalogs give cosmetics and Gold Scales through progression. Catalog points come from every mode.

Fastest catalog points:
Salmon Run gives the highest catalog points per hour of any mode.
Each Salmon Run wave completion gives 20 to 50 catalog points depending on performance grade.
A Profreshional rank Salmon Run session of 10 runs gives 600 to 1,500 catalog points per hour.

Splatfest Multiplier:
During Splatfest weekends, all catalog point gains increase by 2x.
Play during the final 12 hours of Splatfest when the 3x bonus activates.
The 3x Splatfest bonus gives more catalog progression in 2 hours than a full week of normal play.

SALMON RUN WAVE STRATEGIES

Salmon Run requires eliminating all Salmonids in each wave and collecting Power Eggs.

General rules:
Always prioritize Boss Salmonids over Chum Salmonids. Bosses drop Golden Eggs. You need Golden Eggs for quota, not standard Power Eggs.
Call out Golden Egg locations to your team immediately after a Boss dies. Golden Eggs expire after 10 seconds.
Stand on high ground whenever possible. Elevated positions let you attack Boss Salmonids without entering melee range.

King Salmonid (Cohozuna):
Cohozuna appears after clearing the third wave of an Xtrawave.
Focus all fire on Cohozuna during his idle animation (when he is not attacking).
Use Bomb throws from elevated positions to hit Cohozuna without risking knockback into the water.
Defeating Cohozuna gives a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Scale depending on damage dealt. Gold Scales buy the rarest cosmetics.

BEST WEAPON BUILDS BY TYPE

Splattershot Pro (versatile):
Main: Splattershot Pro (high accuracy, good range).
Sub: Angle Shooter (marks targets through walls for teammates).
Special: Ink Vac (absorbs enemy shots and fires them back).
Ability priority: Ink Saver Main (reduces ink consumption), Quick Respawn (faster re-entry after death), Run Speed Up (faster movement while shooting).

Carbon Roller (aggressive):
Main: Carbon Roller (instant flick kills at close range).
Sub: Autobomb (area denial that rolls toward enemies).
Special: Zipcaster (instant repositioning across the map).
Ability priority: Quick Super Jump (faster return from base), Swim Speed Up (faster movement in your team's ink).

ANARCHY BATTLE RANKED TIPS

Anarchy Battle gives rank points (or takes them away) based on win or loss.

Ranked mode fundamentals:
Never push into enemy territory until you control your own base area.
Your base ink percentage gives passive bonus points over time in Splat Zones mode.
In Tower Control, ride the tower only when 2 or more teammates are nearby.
In Rainmaker, the carrier takes 40 percent more damage. Escort the carrier rather than carrying it yourself.

Rank X tips:
At Rank X, all players have above-average mechanical skill. Positioning matters more than aim.
Stay near teammates during every engagement. Isolated players die 3x more often than grouped players at Rank X.
Track special ability charges. Coordinate team specials simultaneously for the highest impact.
