Sea of Stars Cheat Codes, Combo Point Guide, and Rainbow Conch Locations

Sea of Stars Gold farming, Combo Point mechanics, all Rainbow Conch locations, and best party builds for Nintendo Switch and PC.

Sea of Stars does not have a traditional cheat code system. The game rewards players who understand the Combo Point economy, the Lock mechanic for boss fights, and the collectible systems that give permanent party upgrades.

COMBO POINT MECHANICS

Combo Points fill when you hit enemies with their elemental weakness.
You spend Combo Points on three tiers of actions:

Tier 1 (1 Combo Point): Boost (adds extra damage to any attack).
Tier 2 (2 Combo Points): Live Mana (restores MP to one character instantly).
Tier 3 (3 Combo Points): Combo skills (uses two characters simultaneously for a special attack).

Priority usage:
Spend Tier 1 boosts on your physical attacker on every turn where you have a Combo Point available.
Save Tier 3 combo skills for boss Lock phases. Combo skills break multiple Lock symbols simultaneously.

BOSS LOCK MECHANIC

Every boss displays Lock symbols above them during combat.
Lock symbols correspond to damage types (Physical, Moon, Sun, Star, Eclipse, Arcane).
Hitting a Lock symbol with the matching damage type removes it.
Removing all Lock symbols triggers a vulnerable phase where the boss takes 50 percent more damage.

Boss Lock tips:
Never use Combo Points during the first Lock phase. Build 3 Combo Points during standard attacks, then spend the Tier 3 combo skill to break 2 to 3 Lock symbols instantly in the second Lock phase.
Use Zale for Sun damage locks and Valere for Moon damage locks. Their basic attacks cover both common lock types.
Serai's Disorient ability applies a random element to the next hit. Use it when a Lock type does not match your current party composition.

GOLD FARMING METHODS

Treasure Chests:
Each chest in the game gives Gold, equipment, or key items.
No chests respawn. Collect every chest on your first visit to each area.
Sell duplicate equipment immediately. You accumulate 4 to 8 duplicates per major area.
Duplicate gear sells for 30 to 200 Gold each depending on tier.

Cook and Sell Food:
Cooking gives you food items that restore HP and SP.
Cook excess ingredients into food, then sell the cooked items you do not need.
Cooked food sells for 2x to 4x the value of raw ingredients.

Wheel Minigame:
The Wheels minigame (unlocked mid-game through the innkeeper questline) gives Gold prizes for wins.
Each Wheels win gives 100 to 500 Gold depending on opponent difficulty.
Master the Wheels system by always filling your highest-value symbol row first.

RAINBOW CONCH LOCATIONS

Rainbow Conches are collectibles traded for rare items at the Archivist NPC on Wraith Island.

Trading milestones:
5 Conches: Solstice Amulet (increases Combo Point generation by 1 per turn).
10 Conches: Amulet of Storytelling (adds story dialogue to each area).
20 Conches: Falcon-Eyed Parrot (reveals all hidden items in each area on the map).
40 Conches: Disc: Garl's Triumph (music track unlock and lore item).
60 Conches: True Ending unlock requirement. You need 60 Conches to trigger the final hidden ending sequence.

Conch locations by area:
Evermist Island: 6 Conches (3 in the starting village area, 3 in the Moorlands).
Stonemasons Outpost: 4 Conches (all visible from the main path with no hidden areas).
Brisk: 5 Conches (2 in the town, 3 in the surrounding Coral Cascades).
Wraith Island: 8 Conches (spread across Haunted Mansion and the Flooded Graveyard).

The Falcon-Eyed Parrot (20 Conch reward) reveals all remaining Conch locations on your map, making full collection significantly faster after that point.
