Pokemon Legends Arceus Cheat Codes, Shiny Farming, and Alpha Pokemon Guide

Pokemon Legends Arceus shiny farming, Alpha Pokemon locations, merit points farming, and best team guide for Nintendo Switch.

Pokemon Legends Arceus does not have traditional cheat codes. The game includes shiny farming methods, Alpha Pokemon encounter strategies, and a Merit Points system that gives rare items without grinding standard battles.

SHINY FARMING METHODS

Mass Outbreaks:
Mass Outbreaks appear on the map each time you return to Jubilife Village from a fieldwork session.
Each Outbreak spawns 15 to 25 of the same Pokemon species in one location.
Save your game at the start of an Outbreak.
Check all spawns quickly. If no shinies appear, reload and try again.
Each Outbreak gives approximately 1 in 128 odds per encounter for a shiny, compared to 1 in 4,096 for standard encounters.

Research Level 10 Bonus:
Completing all Pokedex research tasks for a specific Pokemon reduces its shiny odds from 1 in 4,096 to 1 in 2,048.
Research Level 10 combined with a Mass Outbreak gives approximately 1 in 64 shiny odds.
Prioritize completing research for Pokemon you want as shinies before farming them.

Charm Items:
Shiny Charm (obtained after completing the entire Pokedex) reduces shiny odds by half.
Shiny Charm combined with Research Level 10 and Mass Outbreaks gives approximately 1 in 20 odds per encounter.

ALPHA POKEMON LOCATIONS

Alpha Pokemon are oversized, red-eyed versions of standard Pokemon with higher base stats.
They appear at fixed locations in each map area and respawn after returning to Jubilife Village.

Key Alpha locations by area:

Obsidian Fieldlands:
Alpha Rapidash: Near the Horseshoe Plains camp.
Alpha Gyarados: Swimming in the Lake Verity area.
Alpha Infernape: At the peak of Firespit Island.

Crimson Mirelands:
Alpha Snorlax: On the path between Cottonsedge Prairie and Holm of Trials.
Alpha Electrode: In the middle of the Scarlet Bog electric field.

Cobalt Coastlands:
Alpha Walrein: On the northern ice shelf.
Alpha Dusknoir: Appears only at night near Deadwood Haunt.

MERIT POINTS FARMING

Merit Points come from returning lost satchels dropped by other players who fainted in the field.

Single-player method:
Use multiple Nintendo accounts on the same Switch.
Create a secondary account and start Pokemon Legends on that account.
Deposit items into the secondary account's satchel, then purposely faint.
Switch to your main account and collect the secondary account's satchel.
Each satchel return gives 50 to 200 Merit Points depending on the items inside.

Merit Points shop priority:
Rare Candy (1,000 Merit Points each): Levels any Pokemon by one.
Seed of Mastery (1,000 Merit Points each): Teaches a Pokemon its strongest move variant immediately.
Exp. Candy XL (1,500 Merit Points each): Gives the equivalent of 30,000 XP to one Pokemon.

Water coverage: Samurott. Starter evolution. Strong Water and Dark-type moves cover most late-game targets.
Dragon coverage: Garchomp. The strongest Dragon-type available and covers Ground simultaneously.
