Ori and the Will of the Wisps does not have cheat codes. The game includes a Spirit Light farming system, a Spirit Shard combination that removes most difficulty from combat, and secret areas that give permanent health and energy upgrades.
SPIRIT LIGHT FARMING METHODS
Spirit Light is the primary currency for purchasing Spirit Shards and health upgrades from Twillen.
Energy Cell Loop:
Collect Energy Cells from defeated enemies and breakable containers throughout each area.
Sell excess Energy Cells to Twillen for 200 to 400 Spirit Light each.
A full area sweep gives 10 to 20 sellable Energy Cells worth 2,000 to 8,000 Spirit Light.
Enemy farming loop:
Enemies respawn each time you return to a region from a different area.
The Wellspring area contains the highest density of enemies per room in the game.
Each Wellspring clear gives 1,500 to 3,000 Spirit Light in under 5 minutes.
BEST SPIRIT SHARD COMBINATIONS
Spirit Shards give passive bonuses. You equip up to four simultaneously.
Combination 1 (maximum damage):
Overcharge: Charged Bash and Launch attacks deal 40 percent more damage.
Wingclip: Bash attacks deal damage to enemies struck by the projectile.
Splinter: Sentry and Light Burst shots split into multiple projectiles.
Sticky: Grenades stick to walls and enemies rather than bouncing.
This combination turns your ranged attacks into high-damage area tools.
Combination 2 (maximum survivability):
Resilience: Reduces all incoming damage by 20 percent.
Lifeforce: Increases your maximum health by 3 points.
Vitality: Restores 1 health point every 15 seconds.
Deflector: Parrying projectiles sends them back at full damage.
This combination lets you survive extended boss fights without collecting health pickups.
Combination 3 (exploration speed):
Quickshot: Reduces Sentry charge time by 50 percent.
Splinter: Sentry shots split into three projectiles.
Finesse: Reduces the stamina cost of dashing by 30 percent.
Turmoil: Increases movement speed by 15 percent when your health is above 80 percent.
SECRET AREA LOCATIONS
Secret areas contain Life Cells (permanent health upgrades) and Energy Cells (permanent energy upgrades).
Inkwater Marsh secrets:
Life Cell 1: Behind the waterfall in the northwestern section. Swim through the waterfall to find a hidden passage.
Energy Cell 1: On a high ledge above the starting tree area. Requires Double Jump ability to reach.
Kwolok's Hollow secrets:
Life Cell 2: In the roots section below the main path. Drop off the left edge of the second bridge and land on a hidden root platform.
Energy Cell 2: Behind a breakable wall in the eastern cave section. Use Bash to accelerate into the wall at full speed.
Luma Pools secrets:
Life Cell 3: Underwater in the northeastern pool. Hold Swim Dash toward the bottom-left corner of the large pool.
BOSS TIPS
Kwolok (giant frog boss):
Phase 1: His tongue attack gives a 0.8-second window to Bash it back at him.
Phase 2: He submerges and sends shockwaves. Jump at the peak of each shockwave, not at the moment it appears.
Use the Bash ability on his projectiles throughout both phases. Each successful Bash stun gives a free 5-second damage window.
Mora (giant spider boss):
Phase 1: Bash her web projectiles. They travel in straight lines with 0.5-second flight time.
Phase 2: She covers the arena floor with sticky web. Cling to walls during web floor phases.
Phase 3: She retreats to the ceiling and drops in 3-second intervals. Attack during her descent animation for maximum damage.
Shriek (final boss):
Phase 1: The arena shrinks over time. Stay near the center to maintain maximum movement options.
Phase 2: Bash her feather projectiles back at her. Three successful Bash returns end Phase 2 instantly.
Phase 3: High-speed pursuit phase. Use Burrow to pass through solid platforms when she closes distance.
