AMRITA FARMING METHODS (ALL PLATFORMS)
Flying Bolt Mission (fastest):
Play the Flying Bolt sub-mission on the Depths difficulty.
Each full run clears in 2 to 3 minutes and gives 500,000 to 800,000 Amrita.
Equip Amrita Gauge skills from the Shiftling skill tree for a 20 percent bonus on all Amrita gains.
Twilight Missions:
Twilight Missions are daily rotating missions with double Amrita rewards.
Each Twilight Mission gives 1,000,000 to 3,000,000 Amrita depending on difficulty tier.
Complete the Twilight Mission before doing any other farming each day.
Smithing Text Method:
Sell Smithing Texts (rare item drop that teaches new equipment crafting recipes) you do not need.
Duplicate Smithing Texts sell for 100,000 to 500,000 Amrita each.
By Way of the Nioh difficulty, most players accumulate 10 to 20 duplicate texts worth 1,000,000 to 10,000,000 Amrita.
BEST SOUL CORE BUILDS
Soul Cores give you Yokai skills that deal high damage when your Anima gauge is full.
Physical damage build:
Primary Soul Core: Enenra (grants Cloud of Smoke skill, creates area damage zone).
Secondary Soul Core: Ippon-Datara (grants Pile Drive skill, highest single-hit Yokai damage in the game).
Both Soul Cores scale with Strength and Stamina.
Stat target: Strength 30, Stamina 30, Dexterity 20.
Magic damage build:
Primary Soul Core: Enki (grants Thunder Clap skill, hits all enemies in a wide area).
Secondary Soul Core: Gaki (grants Gaki Hunger skill, fast multi-hit damage).
Both Soul Cores scale with Magic and Spirit.
Stat target: Magic 30, Spirit 25, Heart 25.
STANCE SYSTEM GUIDE
Nioh 2 has three stances: High (strong attacks), Mid (balanced), Low (fast attacks).
Switch stances during combos by pressing the stance button mid-animation.
Most effective stance transitions:
Mid stance two-hit combo, switch to High stance for the finisher.
This sequence deals 30 percent more damage than staying in one stance.
High stance finishers deal the highest damage of any attack in your weapon set.
Low stance gives the fastest Ki recovery after an exchange. Transition to Low immediately after your combo ends.
BOSS TIPS
Gozuki (early boss):
His charge attack ends with a left-side swing. Dodge right during the charge for a free hit window.
His grab attack starts with both arms raised. Step backward twice to exit grab range.
Gyuki (large ox boss):
His stomp covers half the arena. Run toward his legs during the stomp to avoid the shockwave.
Phase 2 adds a fire breath attack. Fire breath has a 2-second startup. Use the startup window to attack his head for bonus damage.
Otakemaru (final boss):
Phase 1: Each elemental sword stance leaves him open for 1.5 seconds after the combo ends.
Phase 2: He gains access to all three elemental stances simultaneously. Focus on one stance at a time and punish after it ends.
Phase 3: Uses all moves from Phase 1 and Phase 2 at double speed. Stay in Low stance for maximum Ki recovery speed between punish windows.
