Hades Cheat Codes, Heat System Guide, and Fastest Win Build for PC

Hades PC cheat console commands, Heat System mechanics, best weapon builds, and Darkness farming for PC and Nintendo Switch.

Hades on PC supports a developer console activated through a launch argument. Nintendo Switch does not get a console but gets the same in-game Darkness farming loops and Heat mechanics. This guide covers both.

PC CHEAT CONSOLE SETUP

Right-click Hades in Steam and select Properties.
Under Launch Options, add: --debug
Launch the game. Press the tilde key (~) to open the console.

Available commands:
GiveMoney 9999 (adds 9,999 Obols)
GiveResource DarknessSoul 999 (adds 999 Darkness)
GiveResource GemStone 999 (adds 999 Gems)
GiveResource SuperLockPickMetaResource 99 (adds 99 Cthonic Keys)
WinRun (completes the current run instantly)
MaxOut (maxes all Mirror of Night upgrades instantly)

DARKNESS FARMING METHODS (ALL PLATFORMS)

Darkness is the primary currency for Mirror of Night upgrades.

Chamber Clearing:
Each combat chamber gives Darkness from darkness crystals on the floor.
Activate the Privileged Status boon when offered. It increases damage against enemies affected by two status effects.
More kills per chamber equals more darkness crystals per chamber.

Legendary Bounties:
Complete Legendary Bounties by meeting specific run conditions (no damage taken in a chamber, specific weapon used, etc.).
Each Legendary Bounty gives 150 to 400 Darkness on first completion.
There are 60 Legendary Bounties total across all weapons and conditions.

HEAT SYSTEM GUIDE

The Pact of Punishment lets you add Heat conditions to runs. More Heat gives more Darkness rewards.

Best Heat conditions to stack for Darkness farming:
Hard Labor (1 Heat per rank, 5 ranks): Enemies have 20 percent more health. Low difficulty increase, consistent Darkness bonus.
Tight Deadline (1 Heat per rank, 5 ranks): Each chamber has a time limit. Rushing chambers is faster than killing everything anyway.
Aristocratic Taste (1 Heat, 1 rank): Forces you to take only the most expensive boon each chamber. Expensive boons are usually stronger, making this Heat condition a buff rather than a penalty.

Avoid these Heat conditions until Heat 16:
Lasting Consequences: Removes Healing between chambers. Significant survivability loss.
Benefit of the Doubt: Enemies deal 50 percent more damage. Disproportionate difficulty increase.

BEST WEAPON AND BOON COMBINATIONS

Stygius (Sword) with Ares:
Equip Ares boons on your Attack and Special.
Ares boons apply Doom, which deals 80 to 400 damage after a delay.
Stack Doom on as many enemies as possible, then let the delayed damage clear groups.

Varatha (Spear) with Poseidon:
Equip Poseidon boons on your Cast.
Poseidon's Wave boons knock enemies into walls for 300 to 500 bonus damage.
In tight corridors (Elysium and Styx), every knock-into-wall triggers.

Coronacht (Bow) with Artemis:
Equip Artemis boons on your Attack and Call.
Artemis increases Critical Hit chance from 5 percent to 25 to 35 percent.
At 35 percent Critical Hit rate, the bow's charged shots deal 400 to 600 percent normal damage.

MIRROR OF NIGHT PRIORITY

Spend your first 500 Darkness on these upgrades in order:

Death Defiance (3 ranks): Gives you 3 revive charges per run. Each revive restores 50 percent health.
Greater Reflex (1 rank): Adds a second Dash charge. Two dashes instead of one improves survivability in every room.
Dark Foresight (1 rank): Reveals the contents of reward rooms before entering. Always choose the best reward.
Thick Skin (5 ranks): Increases base health by 50 percent total across all ranks. The single highest survivability upgrade per Darkness spent.
