FASTEST RESOURCE FARMING

Grass Planks and Stems:
Cut grass stalks near the Oak Tree base area.
Each grass stalk gives 3 Grass Planks and 1 Grass Stem.
The Oak Tree area regenerates all grass stalks after 2 in-game days.
A 10-minute farming session gives 60 to 80 Grass Planks for base construction.

Pebbles and Quartzite:
Pebbles cover the ground near the pond area and respawn each day.
Quartzite spawns in the underground cave systems below the yard.
Quartzite is the most valuable base building material. Each quartzite chunk gives 3 Quartzite pieces.
Farm underground caves for 30 minutes to collect enough Quartzite for a full fortified base wall.

Sap:
Sap drops from Aphids in the grassland area.
Kill 10 Aphids per session for 20 to 30 Sap pieces.
Sap is required for crafting adhesive, which upgrades armor and tools to their highest tiers.

BEST BASE LOCATIONS

Near the Oak Tree (early game):
The Oak Tree base gives immediate access to Grass, Pebbles, and Clover leaves.
Build on the root system above ground level. Ground-level bases attract Larva attacks at night.
The elevated root position gives you a view of incoming enemies before they reach your walls.

Near the Pond (mid game):
The pond perimeter gives access to water resources, Lilypad Wax, and Mosquito parts.
Build on the northern bank where the ground is flat and no aggressive insects spawn.

Near the Shed (late game):
The Shed area contains the highest concentration of rare materials in the game.
Spider silk, Stinkbug parts, and Bombardier Beetle parts all drop within 200 meters of the Shed.

BOSS KILL STRATEGIES

Broodmother (spider boss):
Weak to Fresh damage (Mint-based weapons).
Phase 1: Attack her abdomen. Her legs have high damage resistance.
Phase 2: She spawns Spiderlings continuously. Kill the Spiderlings first before continuing on her.
Best weapon: Spider Fang Dagger with Fresh augment. Deals 40 percent bonus damage to the Broodmother specifically.

Mantis (insect boss):
Weak to Sour damage (Antlion-based weapons).
Phase 1: She telegraphs every attack with a wing spread. Roll sideways during the wing spread.
Phase 2: She gains air attacks. Stay close to the ground during air phases. Her aerial attacks miss when you press against the arena walls.

Hedge Broodmother:
Requires a fortified loadout of Widow Armor (maximum defense set in the game).
Bring 20 Bandages and 10 Smoothies before entering the hedge maze.
Focus on her eyes during Phase 1. Eye hits deal 3x standard damage.
