God of War 2018 does not have a cheat code system. The game includes Hacksilver farming loops, Nornir Chest puzzles that give permanent upgrades, and Valkyrie boss strategies that most players never see documented clearly.
FASTEST HACKSILVER FARMING
Sell duplicate crafting materials:
Collect Soft Svartalfheim Steel and World Serpent Scale from enemy drops throughout the campaign.
Each Soft Steel sells for 250 Hacksilver. Each World Serpent Scale sells for 500 Hacksilver.
By mid-game, most players accumulate 20 to 40 of each material before needing to upgrade their armor.
Selling duplicates gives 5,000 to 20,000 Hacksilver immediately.
Realm Tear encounters:
Realm Tears (purple glowing tears in the environment) contain enemies that drop large Hacksilver amounts.
Each Realm Tear encounter drops 1,000 to 3,000 Hacksilver on completion.
There are 9 Realm Tears across all realms. Completing all 9 gives 18,000 to 27,000 Hacksilver total.
Sell Artifacts:
Artifacts are collectible objects with no gameplay value after collection.
Each full set of Artifacts sells for 6,000 to 12,000 Hacksilver.
There are 6 artifact sets across all realms. Selling all sets gives 36,000 to 72,000 Hacksilver.
NORNIR CHEST SOLUTIONS BY TYPE
Nornir Chests contain Idunn Apples (health upgrades) and Horns of Blood Mead (Rage upgrades).
Collecting 3 Idunn Apples upgrades your maximum health by one bar. You need 9 total for max health.
Type 1 Chests (spinning seals):
Look for three spinning runic symbols on pillars near the chest.
Hit each seal to stop it on the correct rune symbol shown on the chest.
Use the Leviathan Axe for precise seal stops.
Type 2 Chests (bell seals):
Three bells are hidden in the surrounding area.
Strike all three bells within 5 seconds of each other.
Throwing the axe at one, hitting the second with Atreus arrows, and running to the third manually is the fastest method.
Type 3 Chests (brazier seals):
Light all three braziers simultaneously using Blades of Chaos fire throws.
Some braziers extinguish after a set time. Plan your order before lighting any.
VALKYRIE KILL STRATEGIES
There are 8 Valkyries hidden across all realms plus a final boss Valkyrie Queen.
General Valkyrie rules:
Block with R1 parry for all wing attacks. Wing attacks are the most common and give a free hit window.
Dodge backward for all scythe swings. The scythe hits in a 180-degree frontal arc.
Never stand at long range. Valkyries throw projectiles at distance. Stay at mid-range.
Göndul (Muspelheim Valkyrie):
Her fire clone attack produces two copies of herself. Target the one without fire particles around it.
She uses a fire dive attack with no telegraph. Roll the moment she leaves the ground.
Hildr (Niflheim Valkyrie):
She summons Niflheim mist that drains your health. Kill her within 4 minutes or retreat to regenerate health.
Her ice pillar attack leaves a 2-second recovery window after impact. Use it for your highest-damage combo.
BEST ENCHANTMENT BUILDS
For combat efficiency, stack these three enchantments:
Grips of the Valkyrie (from any Valkyrie drop): Increases Runic Attack damage by 15 percent.
Eye of the Outer Realm (Niflheim shop): Increases Luck stat which improves enchantment drop rates.
Talisman of Cursed Power (Muspelheim shop): Activates Stun Grab mode on every 5th hit for free executions.
