Final Fantasy VII Rebirth does not have a cheat code system. The game includes Gil farming loops, Chadley simulation shortcuts, and materia combinations that remove most of the grind from its 40 to 60 hour runtime.
GIL FARMING METHODS
Sell Duplicate Materia:
You accumulate duplicate materia throughout the game from chests, vendors, and Chadley rewards.
Each duplicate Fire, Ice, or Lightning materia sells for 500 to 2,000 Gil.
By chapter 9, most players have 15 to 25 duplicates worth 20,000 to 40,000 Gil total.
Queen's Blood Tournament:
Complete the Queen's Blood card tournament in each region.
Each tournament win gives 3,000 to 10,000 Gil and rare cards.
The Gongaga tournament gives the highest Gil reward of any early-game tournament.
Steal Materia:
Equip the Steal materia on Yuffie.
Steal from high-level enemies before killing them.
Rare stolen items sell for 3,000 to 8,000 Gil each.
The most valuable steal targets are Tonberry enemies in the Nibel region.
CHADLEY COMBAT SIMULATION TIPS
Chadley's combat simulations give summon materia, upgrade components, and rare equipment.
General tips for all simulations:
Use Assess materia on every enemy at the start of combat. Assess reveals elemental weaknesses and HP.
Build ATB charge before entering a new combat phase. Each phase begins with the enemy at full HP, not continuing from the previous phase.
Bring at least one character with Healing materia. Simulations do not let you use items in most modes.
Summon simulation tips:
Bahamut: Weakness to Ice. Use Aerith with Ice and Blizzard materia as your main damage dealer.
Leviathan: Weakness to Lightning. Use Cloud or Barret with Thunder materia for the fastest kill.
Gilgamesh: No elemental weakness. Focus on building Limit Breaks and using them as they fill.
BEST MATERIA COMBINATIONS
Healing and MP Absorption:
Pair Healing materia with MP Absorption materia in linked slots.
Each cast of Cure restores MP equal to 10 percent of the spell's damage.
This makes Aerith effectively self-sustaining for the entire game.
Magnify and Lightning:
Pair Magnify materia with Lightning materia in linked slots.
Magnify spreads the next cast of the linked materia to all enemies.
One cast of Thundara hits all enemies on screen for full damage.
ATB Boost and Synergy:
Equip ATB Boost materia on Cloud.
Use the Synergy ability with Tifa to fill ATB faster.
In most boss fights, this combination gives Cloud 3 to 4 ATB actions per turn cycle instead of 2.
CHAPTER SELECT FOR MISSED CONTENT
Chapter Select opens after completing the game once.
Use it to return to any chapter and collect missed summon materia, Queen's Blood cards, and side quests.
All items collected in Chapter Select carry over to your completed save file.
Priority missed content: Chadley summon simulations, Protorelic quests, and piano minigame scores.
