GOLD FARMING METHODS (ALL PLATFORMS)
Oxcart Ambush Loop:
Travel by oxcart between major cities.
Oxcarts get ambushed by bandits and monsters on approximately 40 percent of journeys.
Each ambush gives 500 to 2,000 gold in loot from downed enemies.
Arrive in the destination city, sell your loot, and take the oxcart back immediately.
A full round trip takes 8 minutes and returns 2,000 to 6,000 gold in materials.
Ferrystones and Portcrystals:
Buy Ferrystones from merchants in Vernworth for 10,000 gold each.
Place Portcrystals at high-traffic farming locations.
Instant travel between farming spots reduces time per gold farming loop by 60 percent.
Rare Material Vendor Loop:
Defeat large monsters including Drakes, Wyverns, and Golems.
Each defeat drops rare materials worth 3,000 to 15,000 gold each.
Sell materials to Vernworth merchants immediately after each hunt.
A single Drake gives 4 to 6 rare materials per kill.
PAWN OPTIMIZATION GUIDE
Your main pawn earns RC (Rift Currency) when other players hire them online.
RC converts to rare items at the Rift shop including Wakestones worth 20,000 gold each.
Pawn setup for maximum hire rate:
Set your pawn's vocation to Mage or Healer. These get hired 3x more often than combat vocations.
Equip your pawn with the highest-level gear you own. Players filter pawns by gear score.
Set your pawn's inclination to Medicant (healing priority) or Straightforward (direct combat).
Add a descriptive pawn profile including your playstyle and what quests you have completed.
BEST VOCATIONS BY PLAYSTYLE
Warrior: Highest single-hit damage. Uses a two-handed sword. Best against large monsters.
Mystic Spearhand: Best all-round vocation. Melee and magic combined. Highest skill ceiling.
Magick Archer: Longest range. Arrows seek targets automatically. Best for players learning enemy patterns.
Trickster: Creates illusions to manipulate enemy behavior. Lowest damage, highest utility.
Warfarer: Unlocks at late game. Combines two vocation skill sets simultaneously. Requires 1,500 vocation XP in each chosen vocation first.
