Cuphead The Delicious Last Course does not have cheat codes. The DLC includes a Simple difficulty mode that functions as a legal accessibility tool, Ms. Chalice's unique abilities, and charm combinations that significantly reduce boss fight difficulty.
SIMPLE DIFFICULTY GUIDE
Simple mode removes one or two phases from each boss fight and reduces the number of projectiles per phase.
Simple mode limitations:
Completing a boss on Simple does not count as a true victory.
Simple mode gives an A grade maximum regardless of performance.
You earn coins and progress the story on Simple, but the achievement for each boss requires at least a B grade on Regular.
Using Simple strategically:
Use Simple to learn the first phase of each DLC boss before attempting Regular difficulty.
Each DLC boss in Simple mode shows you the correct dodge patterns for Phase 1 at half the projectile density.
After mastering Phase 1 on Simple, switch to Regular for the full fight.
MS. CHALICE ABILITIES
Ms. Chalice is the new playable character in the DLC. She has different abilities than Cuphead and Mugman.
Key differences:
Ms. Chalice has three HP instead of the standard two.
Her dodge gives a brief invincibility window rather than a standard dodge roll.
Her super art charges faster than Cuphead's.
Best Ms. Chalice setup:
Equip the Astral Cookie charm (allows you to play as Ms. Chalice in any level).
Use the Heart Ring charm (restores 1 HP per 200 parry chains).
With Heart Ring equipped, aggressive parrying restores health throughout boss fights.
BEST CHARM COMBINATIONS FOR DLC BOSSES
Combination 1 (maximum survivability):
Astral Cookie (play as Ms. Chalice for 3 HP) plus Twin Heart (adds one extra HP) plus Coffee (activates super art at fight start).
This gives Ms. Chalice 4 HP total, the highest health pool available in the game.
Combination 2 (parry damage build):
P. Sugar (turns all parry targets pink) plus Heart Ring (heals from parry chains) plus Smoke Bomb (invincible on dodge).
Prioritize parrying pink projectiles throughout every fight. Heals from parries offset incoming damage.
ALL DLC BOSS STRATEGIES
Mortimer Freeze (ice and snow boss):
Phase 1: Dodge the snowflakes by moving to the safe gap. The gap appears at the 3 o'clock position of each snowflake ring.
Phase 2: Parry the pink icicles while dodging the blizzard. Each pink icicle parry fills your super art by 25 percent.
Phase 3: Jump over the wave attacks. They alternate between low and high waves. The pattern is low, high, low, high consistently.
Moonkind and Fleece (shepherd and sheep boss):
Phase 1: Stay below the sheep at all times. The shepherd's staff attacks from above only.
Phase 2: The transforming sheep become projectiles. Dodge sideways, never backward. Backward dodges lead into the wall.
Phase 3: Focus fire on the shepherd's head. Her health is separate from the sheep swarm and ends the fight when depleted.
Chef Saltbaker (final DLC boss, 6 phases):
Phase 1: Shoot the salt shaker eyes. Never stand between two shakers simultaneously.
Phase 2: Jump over the rolling pins. They alternate heights: low, high, low, high.
Phase 3: Parry the pink measuring cups. They telegraph their throw direction 1 second before launching.
Phase 4: Move continuously. Standing still during the flour cloud phase guarantees a hit.
Phase 5: The background becomes the boss. All attacks come from the edges of the screen. Stay centered.
Phase 6: High-speed projectile phase. Use Smoke Bomb charm for invincibility during the densest projectile clusters.
COIN LOCATIONS IN THE DLC
There are 5 coins hidden on Inkwell Isle Four (the DLC island).
Each coin gives you currency for the DLC shop, where you buy Ms. Chalice's exclusive weapons and charms.
Coin 1: Behind the lighthouse at the northeast corner of the island. Walk behind the lighthouse structure to find it.
Coin 2: On top of the windmill in the center of the island. Reach it by jumping on the windmill blades as they rotate.
Coin 3: In the cave opening below the starting area. Drop off the south cliff edge to find the cave entrance.
Coin 4: Given by the fisherman NPC near the dock after you complete two DLC boss fights.
Coin 5: Given by the chef NPC near the kitchen entrance after completing four DLC boss fights.
