Crash Bandicoot 4 Cheat Codes, Hidden Gem Guide, and N Sanely Perfect Tips

Crash Bandicoot 4 Wumpa Fruit farming, Hidden Gem locations, N. Sanely Perfect guide, and bonus skin unlocks for PS5, Xbox, and PC.

Crash Bandicoot 4 does not have traditional cheat codes. The game includes hidden gem locations, N. Sanely Perfect achievement requirements, and a skin unlock system that rewards thorough exploration and speedrunning.

WUMPA FRUIT FARMING METHODS

Wumpa Fruits do not have a direct currency value in Crash 4. Instead, they track your score multiplier.
Your Wumpa Fruit count at the end of each level determines your score tier.

Score tier thresholds:
Bronze: Collect any Wumpa Fruits.
Silver: Collect 50 to 74 percent of Wumpa Fruits in the level.
Gold: Collect 75 to 99 percent.
Platinum: Collect 100 percent.
Platinum plus no deaths: Unlocks N. Sanely Perfect gem.

Highest Wumpa density levels:
N. Sanity Beach: 86 Wumpa Fruits. The most forgiving level for farming Platinum tiers on first attempts.
Dino Dino Jungle: 94 Wumpa Fruits. Linear layout with no branching paths to miss.
Hook, Line, and Sinker: 108 Wumpa Fruits. Requires swimming controls mastery.

HIDDEN GEM LOCATIONS BY WORLD

World 1 (Wumpa Island):
Rude Awakening hidden gem: In the first lava section, jump into the alcove on the right wall after the third flame pillar. The gem is inside a hidden room.

World 2 (The Hazardous Wastes):
Hit the Road hidden gem: Under the second overpass bridge. Drop off the left edge before the bridge and land on a hidden platform below.

World 3 (Salty Wharf):
Hook Line and Sinker hidden gem: Swim to the bottom of the third underwater section. The gem sits in a rock formation visible from the main path.

World 4 (Mosquito Marsh):
Stay Frosty hidden gem: In the snowstorm section, the gem is behind an ice wall on the right side. Use Cortex's Transformation Ray to break it.

World 5 (Tranquility Falls):
Building Bridges hidden gem: On the bridge section before the final checkpoint, walk off the left edge before the last gap. A hidden floating platform leads to the gem.

N. SANELY PERFECT TIPS

N. Sanely Perfect requires collecting all Wumpa Fruits, all Crates, and all Gems in one run without dying.

General preparation:
Play each level 3 to 5 times normally before attempting N. Sanely Perfect. Know every crate and gem location before your attempt.
Use Tawna's Hookshot to reach crates above the main path. Many N. Sanely Perfect runs fail because players miss ceiling crates.
Use Dingodile's Vacuum to collect Wumpa Fruits in areas with moving hazards. The vacuum pulls fruits from a safe distance.

Deaths during N. Sanely Perfect attempts:
Your death counter tracks all deaths across the run, not just per checkpoint section.
One death disqualifies your N. Sanely Perfect attempt for that run. Start the level over.
The Platinum Relic and N. Sanely Perfect gem are separate rewards. Focus on N. Sanely Perfect first since it requires no death, which makes time limits irrelevant.

BONUS SKIN UNLOCKS

Default skins unlock through in-game achievement progression.
Alternate Crash skin (Totaku Edition): Complete the game on any difficulty.
Coco Alternate Skin (Classic outfit): Collect all Colored Gems in the game.
N. Tropy Skin: Complete all Time Trial challenges with Gold Relic or better.
Alternate Cortex Skin: Complete all Flashback Tape challenges without dying.

CRATE LOCATIONS IN TRICKY SECTIONS

Tricky Crates (hard to find crates in each level):
Platform crates hidden above the normal jump height appear in Worlds 2 and 4 specifically.
Listen for the wooden crate sound effect. If you hear it but see nothing, look above your current position.
Break all crates in order from first to last in the level. Missing one early forces a full level restart.
Use the Aku Aku mask before crate sections that include bounce crates. Bounce crates trigger automatically and risk sending you into hazards.
