What is Angular Cheat Sheet?
An Angular cheat sheet is a handy reference guide that can help you learn and remember the various AngularJS directives, syntax, and options. It’s a great resource for both beginners and experienced developers who want to quickly look up the key parts of AngularJS. The cheat sheet covers all the major topics in AngularJS, including expressions, controllers, scopes, services, filters, directives, and more.
What are Angular Materials?
Angular materials are a set of tools that Angular uses to create user interfaces. There are three main types of materials:
1. Components – These are the building blocks of Angular applications.
They are reusable and can be customized to fit your specific needs.
2. Directives – These provide additional functionality to your application, such as data binding and event handling.
3. Services – These provide utility functions that make it easier to develop Angular applications.
What are Methods in Angular?
AngularJS is a JavaScript-based open-source front-end web application framework mainly maintained by Google and by a community of individuals and corporations to address many of the challenges encountered in developing single-page applications. The JavaScript components complement Apache Cordova, a framework used for developing cross-platform mobile apps. It aims to simplify both the development and the testing of such applications by providing a client-side model–view–controller (MVC) architecture, component-based routing, and dependency injection.
AngularJS is built on the belief that declarative programming should be used to create user interfaces and connect software components, while imperative programming is better suited to defining an application’s business logic.
The AngularJS framework works by first reading the HTML page, which has additional custom tag attributes embedded into it. These attributes are directives which tell AngularJS’s HTML compiler ($compile) what to do with that piece of DOM or how to modify it.
During compilation, the compiler traverses the DOM matching directives against the HTML elements they describe. Once it finds all directives for a particular element, it collects their requirements (e.g., value setters), creates appropriate scope objects if necessary, then instantiates directive controllers along with any injectable services needed for them to function.[7]:4–5 By design, this arrangement decouples directive logic from template markup making it possible for us to develop modules independently and reuse them throughout our application
In AngularJS there are four ways in which you can define methods:
1) Using controller: You can define methods inside controllers using $scope object. All these methods will have access to $scope object properties like $scope.name or $scope.age etc.
2) Using service: You can also create services using angularjs service method . All these services will have access to other angularjs injected things like $http etc but not directly accessible from outside world i mean you can not call them using URL(REST). Instead you need something else like controller or another service as intermediary between your view/code outside world and this serivce.
$http etc.. But once you get hold on instance variable of this service , you can use all its public methods defined inside..
Services are singletons so same instance gets injected everywhere.$q etc.. Service returns some kind of promise always(success or failure).
What is a Component in Angular?
A component is a basic building block of an Angular application. It is the smallest deployable unit of an Angular application. A component controls a patch of screen real estate that we call a view.
We can think of a component as being the initializer for a particular piece of the Angular pie, which will later be combined with other components to form an Angular application.
In Angular, every UI element is associated with a specific component. For example, if we have a button on our website, that button would be associated with its own unique component.
In this way, each UI element in an Angular application is modular and independent from the others. This makes it easy to reuse components and helps to keep our code clean and maintainable.
